Shifty Grifty New Opportunities

I couldn't stay away...
So, after my last announcement of giving up on any more KS publishing projects, I received a lot of very kind and encouraging messages from some of you. What a community! Then a message popped up on my Facebook... someone wanted to work with me on another anthology...
Humans Are The Problem: A Monster's Anthology
Yep. Monsters need support and this is how I am going to give it. Pesky humans are always creeping in and destroying monsters' ecosystems with overpopulation, hunting, uber-nosiness, and urban spread. Poor monsters. Well, this is an anthology full of horror stories—the monsters can read them and get that pep talk they need. Hey, you monsters! We're bringing scary back!
My hope is, that by supporting the monsters that I will be able to create more Grifty anthologies. Fairies are a bunch of snobs. If Humans Are The Problem is successful, expect more Grifty goodness.
But...
Before you even mention it, yes, I wasn't the greatest at fulfilling the Grifty rewards in a timely fashion. Luckily, my new partner is way more organized and won't let me get away with that again. Good for you, bad for me.
Expect to see some emails from Weird Little Worlds... feel free to follow or not.
You are the best!
Mike

THE REWARDS HAVE ALL BEEN SHIPPED
If you didn't get yours, let me know ASAP and I will remedy the issue.
THE END in many ways
So this draws the Kickstarter GSOF to an end. The whole experience has been... enlightening. Some words of advice:
Don't try to do a Kickstarter when
you are starting a new job
buying a new house (in the middle of the summer, hot hot summer)
remodeling said house (no remodel is ever quick)
when your spouse is significantly pregnant (a main reason for the new and bigger house)
your mental health is at it's limit
you haven't done enough research about shipping
when the company you are doing the Kickstarter under is in the midst of implosion
Yep, that's right. I was going through all of that. I made it, but you, the backers, bore the brunt of my negligence. For that I am truly and deeply sorry. I hope the great stories in the book will make life a bit more bearable.
So, the Kickstarter is done. Fin. I hinted at doing two more as part of a GSOF series. I had full intentions of doing so in my optimistic delirium. Now, I am saying that those subsequent books will never happen. Why? Two main reasons:
1. My incompetence in fulfilling the kickstarter has most likely killed any chance of returning backers--my street cred is seriously lacking AND
2. Fiction Vortex, the company I help found and run is dead--internal conflicts and other un-fun stuff led to its demise and I am no longer an Editor-in-Chief anywhere.
At this point, I plan to sulk in the shadows, play a lot of board games, and write my own stuff. Maybe, just maybe I will look back into GSOF Darker and GSOF Greed in the future.
So long and thanks for the...
Enough of my sad sob story. I really am grateful to all of you backers. I hope you take the chance to share GSOF with others--the authors deserve that.

This isn't about Grifty... but I will say your responses to my last message were very gracious and really made my day.
Upon A Once Time Anthology
I came across this anthology a couple of days ago... the artwork is AMAZING, and the way they plan to print the book is so cool. But even better, it's all stories that are fairy tale mashups! They are close to 10k... it would be cool to see them hit that goal in the next few hours before it is over!
