Shipping

We've had some delays with the production of the decoy journals... lots of back and forth about bleed... bleed... and bleed. Our graphic designer was going nuts and called the company... after a painful time of actually talking to a real human, the issue is resolved and will only set us back a couple of days.

Otherwise, we are still looking at the first week of December.

All backers should receive emails today with your order surveys! Please do them as soon as possible. I am hoping to close up the store, have all orders in, and do a shipping party in the first week of December!

I have a lot of excuses, like armpits, we all have at least two... and they can stink. The last six months have proven more difficult than I imagined. Details are irrelevant. What is important is that you all are awesome and have been so very supporting. This project is always on my mind... I want it done.

Some of you may know that Fiction Vortex, the company behind Grifty Shades, is also the force behind StoryShop, a completely awesome writing platform with some awesome tools for world-building and collaboration. This is the same StoryShop started by Sterling & Stone, but we took it over... along with their conference. Smarter Artist conference was the name... NOW IT IS STORYSHOP SUMMIT!

Expect to see Backerkit emails come your way soon. The store was just built and is under final review by Backerkit. They have a 48 hr max turn around. So here's hoping for Saturday!

Edits

They are going out to the authors. Proofing and formatting begins very very soon.

Wands

I found a way to make my own high friction polish (stuff is expensive to buy!). So, what is better: no-finish wand you can paint or a super-shiny wand? 

Buttons

Apart from the art in the campaign, we should have a few more button choices coming soon... I have to crack the whip on my artist gnome. 

Backerkit

We are all signed up for Backerkit and the store should be up by mid-November. The goal is to have rewards out to people before Christmas shipping hell ensues.

Wands!

We have begun the process of smuggling the wands into our mortal realm. So far we’ve been able to get Ash, White Oak, Mahogany, and Beech.

As for the stories... editing is under way! Mid November should see the production begin and fulfillment to you ever-so patient backers!
