False-ish Alarm, New Authors, Party-Time

So... This whole time Mike was wrong...

He kept telling us that the campaign ends on May 24, but it's actually MAY 25TH. We smacked Mike with an anti-wand wand and now he knows better. Spell banished.

But don't let that put you in a complacent mood! We only have 45 hours at this point! And let's face it, nobody is going to care about a Kickstarter on a beautiful Saturday. Ugh. 

We said once we hit $4000 we would...

announce new authors! We are proud to add David Boop with his story of rock'n'roll fey and J.D. Mankowski with his story about Polynesian fey.

Some of you may have noticed...

Dawnray Ammon and Jenna Eatough, the minds behind Fyrecon have been extremely influential and helpful in this whole project! They deserve a lot of credit. Yet, they are gluttons for punishment! Dawnray has agreed to let us have a NO-BOOK LAUNCH PARTY at Fyrecon this year if the campaign funds. 

The book won't be ready, but we will celebrate and sign book plates and all of that fun stuff. So, if we fund, and if you are going to Fyrecon this year, you are officially invited. We will have more details about it all later!

We have come upon the last 24 hours of the campaign. We are very close and we aren’t giving up hope. So now is the time to act, now is the time to upgrade pledges or get your best friends to join along.

We will have more updates later tonight but now is the time to act.

The Grifty Shades of Fey campaign has 6 DAYS LEFT.

We are only 58% funded $3,531.00. (This is cool, don't get me wrong.)

We have 105 backers.

We have averaged $147.13 a day in committed backer funding.

More numbers...

To make our goal:

• we need, roughly, an additional 100 backers
• we need to average $411.50 each remaining day
• 7.53 billion humans need your help to fight against the fairy menace!

WE ARE NOT READY TO WAVE THE WHITE FLAG

We aren't giving up. You shouldn't either. Shout it from the roof tops. Yell it out in the public bathroom. Tell your dentist before he numbs your mouth (then again, we are pretty sure dentists are Fey... hmmm). Scream it at your local protest:

100 Backers - BackerKit - New Reward Option

I’m posting this from my phone while I wait for my daughter’s orchestra concert to start. Apologies for the brevity.

This morning we hit 100 backers. A centurion force to take on the Fey!

We are going to use Backerkit for fulfillment. This means add-ons and better shipping and less work for me. Yay.

We have a new reward option to take advantage of the add-ons. Check it out! It will be perfect for those who want multiple copies of the book or want swag or aren’t really sure.

Last night we hit the half way mark in funding! The Fair Folk are getting nervous--no amount of dancing naked around their naked cherubic gods will help them!
